“Excellent Paper Award” to Our Scientists in ICTC 2020 Conference

The paper titled “LDPC Coded OFDM-IM Performance Evaluation Under Jamming Attack”, prepared as an output of the project implemented under the partnership of İTÜ-İTÜNOVA TTO and ASELSAN, won the “Excellent Paper Award” at the international ICTC 2020 conference.

The paper presented by our scientists at the 11th International Conference on ICT Convergence (ICTC 2020) conference held at Jeju Island of South Korea entered the first 5 among around 500 papers and received the “Excellent Paper Award”.

The authors of the paper titled “LDPC Coded OFDM-IM Performance Evaluation Under Jamming Attack” are Res. Assist. Ahmet Kaplan (İTÜ), Res. Assist. Mehmet Can (İTÜ), Prof. Dr. İbrahim Altunbaş (İTÜ), Prof. Dr. Güneş Karabulut Kurt (İTÜ), Dr. Defne Küçükyavuz (ASELSAN). With this study, it was shown that by using the LDPC coded OFDM-IM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing with index modulation) technique, wireless 5G and beyond communication systems can be made more robust to jammer attacks, and therefore, more secure communication can be made.
