Istanbul Technical University and Sabancı University will Conduct Projects in Nanotechnology Field
Istanbul Technical University and Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center (SUNUM) signed a bilateral cooperation protocol.

Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center and Istanbul Technical University Graduate Student Cooperation Protocol aims to create added value for the industry with the advanced technologies that will be developed jointly by researchers and academics through the use of infrastructure as well as transfer of experience.
Advanced technological solutions resulting from strong collaborations will shape the future of various sectors from energy to medicine and pharmaceutics, from food to defense industry.
Synergy will be created between the organizations and projects with high added value for the country will be implemented.
About SUNUM
Established in 2010 within Sabancı University with a budget of 35 million dollars contributed by the State Planning Organization and Sabancı Foundation, SUNUM was qualified in 2017 as a “National Research Infrastructure” by the Ministry of Development’s Research Infrastructures Council for five years under Law No. 6550. As a National Research Infrastructure, SUNUM adopts the basic principle of serving both inside and outside the institution with its 24/7 open laboratories; and its core capabilities were determined as research, service, cooperation, creating added value, and education.
The SUNUM facility houses 25 laboratories in six classifications over a total area of 1,500 square meters, which are equipped with high-precision, state-of-the-art equipment for nanotechnology and different services for academic and industrial institutions and organizations.
