Important Announcement about the Ministry of Interior's Requirement of Covid-19 Vaccine or PCR Test
According to the circular of the Ministry of Interior dated 20.08.2021, as of Monday, September 6, 2021, a PCR test with a negative result will be mandatory for persons who are not vaccinated to be able to participate in activities in which citizens are attending collectively. In this context, institutions will question the HES code for people as vaccinated / recovered from disease (according to the period of scientifically accepted immunity after Covid-19 disease) or with a negative PCR test performed maximum 48 hours ago.

According to the circular of the Ministry of Interior dated 20.08.2021, as of Monday, September 6, 2021, a PCR test with a negative result will be mandatory for persons who are not vaccinated to be able to participate in activities in which citizens are attending collectively. In this context, institutions will question the HES code for people as vaccinated / recovered from disease (according to the period of scientifically accepted immunity after Covid-19 disease) or with a negative PCR test performed maximum 48 hours ago.
Accordingly, the current HES code information of our university students and academic-administrative staff should be entered into the system and necessary controls should be made in this way. As a result of inquiries to be made with HES codes, our students and academic-administrative staff will be checked as "Is the person recovered from disease / vaccinated / has a negative PCR test" in line with the data of the Ministry of Health. Entrance cards of students, academic and administrative personnel who do not enter their current HES code into the system will be deactivated and the person will be notified via e-mail.
Our students and academic-administrative staff are required to create a HES code without time limit and define their codes in the system until September 15, 2021 at the latest, with the help of the software prepared on the ITU Portal by our Department of Information Technologies.
