ITU is a Partner of Innovative Software Competition (Y3) Program

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) will be among the organizers of the Innovative Software Competition (Y3) organized by the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB). ITU will be responsible for organizing the competition “Reinforcement Learning Based Herd Strategy Development” and developing the software and algorithms required for the competition environment in the 3rd term of the program.

In Innovative Software Competition (Y3) organized by the Presidency of Defence Industries and attended by universities and companies every year, the contestants develop creative solutions for challenging artificial intelligence problems.

ITU Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Application and Research Center will be responsible under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazım Kemal Üre for organizing the competition “Reinforcement Learning Based Herd Strategy Development” and developing the software and algorithms required for the competition environment within the framework of Y3.

In the Innovative Software Competition (Y3) Program 2. Term Award and 3. Term Signing Ceremony held at Ankara, the President of Defence Industries Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir announced that ITU is a partner. The signing ceremony was attended by ITU Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu, Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Hacı Ali Mantar, Secretary General Prof. Dr. Ali Deniz and competition supervisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nazım Kemal Üre.
