ITU Back to School Festival Welcomed New Bees

“Back to School Festival” in which Istanbul Technical University’s project teams and student clubs were introduced was held on 26-27 October at Ayazağa Campus with the theme 249th back to school.

The project teams and student clubs festival "Back To School' 21", regularly organized by Istanbul Technical University every year and where new students who join ITU meet, was full of great enthusiasm and fun this year as well.

In the festival, where the students who have just joined ITU met, students had the opportunity to get to know the project groups, culture-arts and sports clubs that match their interests.

Meeting with clubs

Culture, art and thought clubs, which embody various performance arts from music to theater, dance to cinema, introduced themselves and met with their new members by talking about the professional conferences and career summits they organize. Sports clubs, on the other hand, were in the field to encourage ITU students to do sports for a healthy life, as a hobby or with professional license. The festival, where the newly established clubs met with the students, was full of tips on having a “more social student life”.

Concerts are full of fun

Our Rector Prof. Dr. İsmail Koyuncu visited the booths of the project teams and student clubs throughout the festival and chatted with the students. Koyuncu, who was very interested in the teams exhibiting their projects, tested the formula car of the ITU Racing Team at the festival area.
