The Rate of Our Graduates Finding a Job in the First Year is 84%

According to the results of the 2021 ITU Alumni Survey conducted by the ITU Corporate Relations and Alumni Communication Office, the rate of full-time employment of ITU graduates in the first year after graduation was 84 percent.

The graduate survey prepared by the ITU Corporate Relations and Alumni Communication Office over the ITU Veti System was conducted online between 15-22 November 2021. The results, in which 833 people participated, also included the expectations of graduates from ITU.

The survey conducted by ITU Corporate Relations and Alumni Communication Office with ITU graduates revealed the job finding results of their graduates. According to the data, the job placement rate of ITU graduates before graduation was 25 percent, 35 percent in the first three months after graduation, 15 percent in the first six months after graduation, and 84 percent in the first year after graduation.

When the distribution of respondents according to faculties at ITU, which includes thirteen faculties and a conservatory, high participation was achieved from the Faculties of Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics, and Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering. While the graduation years of the participants varied between 1958 and 2021, 2021 graduates were the most participating.
