ITU Rose 72 Places in the World University Rankings
In the World University Rankings announced by Round University Ranking (RUR), Istanbul Technical University (ITU) ranked 384th, rising 72 places compared to the previous year, and 3rd among Turkish universities, rising four places.

Round University Ranking (RUR) 2022, which evaluates the performance of world universities, has been announced. Our university, which ranked 384th in the 2022 World University Rankings announced by RUR, rising 72 places compared to the previous year, also rose in the “research”, “international diversity” and “financial sustainability” rankings. ITU ranked third among Turkish universities by rising four places.
While ITU increased its score in the international diversity category by 23 percent and rose to the 394th place, it increased its score in the research category by 18.3 percent and rose to the 549th place. Our university increased its score in the financial sustainability category by 10 percent and rose to the second place; in Turkey it ranked first in the same field.
Round University Ranking (RUR) measures the performance of 1100 leading world universities from 82 countries by 20 indicators and 4 key areas of university activities and covers the period from 2010 to the present.
