CESAER Association Secretary General Visited Our University

A courtesy visit to our university was made by David Bohmert, Secretary General of the European Schools Conference for Advanced Engineering Education and Research (CESAER) Association, whose members include ITU.

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) continues to develop international collaborations. The CESAER Association (Conference of European Schools for Advanced Engineering Education and Research), established in Belgium in 1990 to guide European policymakers and funders in developing the necessary policies and resources for research, education, and innovation, incorporates 58 universities from the European continent.

Our university is always in close communication with international stakeholders. On behalf of ITU, our Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Lütfiye Durak Ata, accompanied David Bohmert, Secretary General of the CESAER Association, who also visited ITU ARC Aerospace Research Center and Aviation and Space and National Research Center on Membrane Technologies after a presentation about Istanbul Technical University was made at our Rectorate. The delegation continued its program by making inspections at ITU Çekirdek Incubation. Then information sharing happened related to projects at ITU ARI Teknokent.

Expressing his thanks for the Turkish hospitality, Bohmert said they would like to host our university next time.
