Deadline for “ITU Awards” is September 30!

Applications for “Istanbul Technical University Awards”, organized to support and encourage studies in scientific and technological fields, have started. The deadline for the award, in which all academics from all over Turkey can participate, is September 30, 2022...

The deadline for applications to “Istanbul Technical University Awards”, which is organized to reward successful scientific studies in our country and to encourage researchers for new studies, has been determined as September 30, 2022.

“Istanbul Technical University Awards” aims to reward researchers who prioritize social contribution, develop new technologies, attach importance to university-industry cooperation, and have served the world of science in education and social fields with projects, patents and product-oriented studies delivered with an innovative perspective. In this context, all researchers who have made significant contributions to the development of their fields and contributed to the R&D culture of our country with their scientific excellence and/or application-oriented research will be able to participate in the ITU Awards.

This Year’s Theme: “Sustainability”

ITU Awards, which will be given annually in sixteen sub-categories including Science, Young Academic Achievement, Thematic Field Research, Service and Special Awards, will reward scientific and social ideas and projects in the thematic field of “Sustainability” in 2022.

In addition, in commemoration of Prof. Dr. Mustafa İnan’s 111th birthday, “Mustafa İnan Special Award” will be given to researchers who have scientific achievements in İnan’s field of study. This award will be evaluated on a proposal basis and will be open to all researchers.
