ITU continues to rise in THE World University Rankings 2023
Istanbul Technical University (ITU) continued its upward trend in international academic rankings, rising from 542nd place to 447th place in the teaching category of THE World University Rankings 2023.

Times Higher Education (THE), one of the most prestigious academic ranking institutions in the world, shared the “World University Rankings 2023” based on the data of a total of over 2,500 universities worldwide that have achieved a certain standard.
According to the "World University Rankings 2023", in which universities are ranked based on various academic criteria, ITU rose to the range of 601-800 last year, and maintained its place in the ranking despite the increase in the number of universities evaluated this year.
In the evaluations made based on the categories of teaching, research, citations, international outlook and knowledge transfer, ITU became one of the universities among over 2,500 institutions. In addition, it rose from 542nd place to 447th place this year in the teaching category.
