ITU 9th Geochemistry Symposium in Didim
9th Geochemistry Symposium was organized by ITU in Aydın, Didim on 17-20 October. Scientists from various universities around the world showed great interest in the symposium.

9th Geochemistry Symposium organized by Istanbul Technical University (ITU) was attended by scientists from various universities around the world. Our Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kumral, who chaired the symposium held at Didim Laur Hotel on October 17-20, thanked the participants and expressed the following: “In the Geochemistry Symposium, which was organized for the ninth time this year, presentations were made in many fields from environmental problems to industry, from mining to atmosphere. We thank our participants very much. We are very pleased that our symposium was held in Didim, one of the most beautiful districts of our country with its culture, history and nature.”
Approximately 250 scientists from many parts of the world participated in the symposium and held scientific discussions on many different topics such as mining, environment, atmosphere, industry, groundwater, petroleum, geothermal, marine and coastal habitats.
