International Summer School at ITU

The “International Summer School on Transdisciplinary Collaboration of Sustainable Technologies (TCST)”, funded by T.I.M.E. Association, will take place online between 28 August – 8 September 2023.

In its 250th year, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) continues to take steps to transform the future with sustainability-oriented projects. The “International Summer School on Transdisciplinary Collaboration of Sustainable Technologies (TCST)”, organized by the Consortium of four T.I.M.E (Top International Managers in Engineering) member universities, will take place online this summer.

During the summer school open to students, industrial partners, young researchers and engineers, the focus will be on the sustainable use of innovative materials and technologies that contribute to intelligent solutions for a clean environment, sustainability, and digitalization.

In the summer school organized by Istanbul Technical University, Technische Universität München (Germany), Xi’an Jiaotong University (China) and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), the transdisciplinary courses will cover the following topics:

1. Textile Materials and Technologies
2. Multiphysics modelling of sustainable materials and components
3. Circular Economy and Sustainability
4. 2-dimensional materials for sustainable electronic and optoelectronic devices applications
