Paper Award to ITU members in the USA
Our graduate and faculty member won the Best Paper Award at one of the leading electronic engineering symposia in the USA with their paper.

As Istanbul Technical University celebrates its 250th anniversary, it continues to achieve success in various fields and on different continents. The 33rd ACM Great Lakes Symposium on VLSI, one of the world’s leading electronic engineering symposia that is organized in the USA, was held in Knoxville on June 5-7, 2023.
ITU Electronics Engineering PhD program graduate Dr. Sercan Aygün and his advisor, ITU Department Electronics and Communication Engineering faculty member Prof. Dr. Ece Olcay Güneş won the Best Paper Award with their paper titled “Bit-Stream Processing with No Bit-Stream: Efficient Software Simulation of Stochastic Vision Machines” on low-cost software simulation of emerging hardware systems.
