Great Interest in ITU Promotion and Preference Days

ITU was again the favorite of students who will make university preference in 2023. More than 20 thousand students participated in ITU Promotion and Preference Days which took place on 24 July - 4 August at Ayazağa Campus.

Istanbul Technical University, Türkiye’s first and one of the world’s most established technical universities, became the first stop for young people who dream of a good university this year again as it celebrates its 250th anniversary. ITU Promotion and Preference Days, which took place on July 24 - August 4 at Ayazağa Campus, ended with the participation of more than 20 thousand students.

In the event, which included the stands of 13 faculties, many student and project teams, as well as dual degree programs, ITU TRNC Campus, Registrar’s Office, Erasmus Office, Ginova, Dormitory and Scholarship Office and PDR, university candidates found answers to their questions about ITU and the department they want to study at. In addition to the leading engineering departments, the stands of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering Department, which was opened in the 2020-2021 academic year, and Cyber Security Vocational School, which was opened this year and will enroll students for the first time, also attracted attention.

During ITU Promotion and Preference Days, which lasted for 12 days, university candidates who participated in general school presentations and campus tours also had the chance to visit the ITU Museum, where two and a half centuries of Istanbul Technical University’s experience are exhibited.
