Our Doyen Faculty Members Continue to Meet with our Students and Graduates in ITU’s 250th Anniversary

ITU’s doyen academics continue to meet with our students and graduates as part of the 250th Anniversary Events. The gathering at ITU Faculty of Electrical and Electronics on October 6 attracted great interest.

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) brings together its students and graduates with its doyen professors as part of its 250th Anniversary Events. ITU’s doyen faculty members, who have a worldwide reputation in their fields, met with the audience at ITU Faculty of Electrical and Electronics İdris Yamantürk Conference Hall on October 6, 2023.

Prof. Dr. Mithat İdemen, Prof. Dr. Erdal Panayırcı, Prof. Dr. Atilla Bir, Prof. Dr. Duran Leblebici and Prof. Dr. Nejat Tuncay shared their experiences with our students and graduates in the lectures they gave.

Young ITU members had the opportunity to listen to inspiring lectures from our professors on different topics such as the relationship between electromagnetism and contemporary culture, the past and present of communication, the history of science, Türkiye’s microelectronic adventure, and the development of technology from electromechanical transformation to electric vehicles.

The meetings held within the scope of ITU’s 250th Anniversary Events will continue in the future.
