Project Support from TUSEB to Our Faculty Member Dr. Kübra Onbaşlı

The project titled “Development of theranostic SPIONs with targeted combined therapy potential for the treatment of pancreatic cancer”, whose principal investigator is Kübra Onbaşlı, has been granted support within the framework of TUSEB Group B R&D project program.

ITU Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering faculty member Dr. Kübra Onbaşlı has been granted support within the framework of “TUSEB Group B R&D project program”.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Kübra Onbaşlı’s project titled “Development of theranostic SPIONs with targeted combined therapy potential for the treatment of pancreatic cancer” aims to make a significant contribution at the clinic transition phase and to increase our country’s competence in the health field by offering an alternative method to the treatment of pancreatic cancer, which is one of the most difficult and deadliest cancers for clinical treatment.

In the project to be coordinated by Istanbul Technical University, Koç University and Koç University Hospital will participate as research institutions.
