Third Prize to Our Research Assistant
Dr. Doğuş Güler, our research assistant at the Department of Geomatics Engineering, was awarded the third prize for his doctoral thesis in the Young Surveyors’ Contest organized by CLGE.

Dr. Doğuş Güler, our research assistant at ITU Faculty of Civil Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, won the third prize in the Doctoral Degree category at the CLGE Young Surveyors’ Contest 2023 organized by the Council of European Geodetic Surveyors (CLGE).
The award-winning thesis titled “Development of a building information modeling (Bim)-based integrated model for 3-dimensional management of vertical property rights and tripartite cycle proposal” by our research assistant, who received his award at a ceremony held at Berlin on 11 October 2023, presents a tripartite (3P) cycle vision that includes digital building permit procedures, 3D city model updating, and 3D registration of property ownership, while also analyzing each part of the 3P cycle by evaluating its potential to be implemented in Türkiye.
We congratulate our research assistant and wish him success in his studies.
