Autonomous Delivery Robot YEBO is at our Ayazağa Campus

Yemeksepeti’s autonomous robot YEBO, developed by DELIVERS.AI at Istanbul Technical University, started delivering food orders at Istanbul Technical University, Ayazağa Campus.

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) continues to offer its students and faculty members the opportunity to experience the current possibilities of developing autonomous technologies. ITU, which previously started providing on-campus ring shuttle service to students with the world’s first autonomous bus e-ATAK, is now introducing its students to Yemeksepeti’s autonomous delivery robot YEBO, developed by DELIVERS.AI.

YEBO, which will take on the task of delivering orders placed via Yemeksepeti from 1773 ITU Cafeteria, is powered by electricity. In this respect, it aims to be the pioneer of an innovative and sustainable future for the delivery sector. The robot, which can detect motion with the help of sensors and thus safely deliver the orders it has planned with its autonomous navigation infrastructure in a simulation environment, can be tracked instantly through the transmitters on it.

ITU students start the day with “Bee Soup”

With the cooperation of ITU and Yemeksepeti; students, faculty members and staff have the opportunity to start the day with hot “Bee Soup.” The soup distribution service continues until 9 a.m. every morning at the entrance of Arı Gate in our Ayazağa Campus, as in previous years.
