Best Paper Award to Our Research Assistant from ELECO

ITU Department of Electrical Engineering research assistant Osman Can Soygenç received Prof. Dr. Ayten Kuntman Best Student Paper Award at ELECO 2023 Conference.

14^th International Conference on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ELECO) organized jointly by Istanbul Technical University, Bursa Uludağ University and Chamber of Turkish Electrical Engineers was held online on 30 November-2 December.

The winners of “best paper awards” given by ELECO were announced during the conference. ITU Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, Department of Electrical Engineering research assistant Osman Can Soygenç received “Best Student Paper Award” given in honor of Prof. Dr. Ayten Kuntman, who contributed to the development of electrical engineering in Türkiye.

Res. Asst. Soygenç’s award-winning article prepared under the supervision of his thesis advisor and ITU Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, Department of Electrical Engineering faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Derya Ahmet Kocabaş, based on his Ph.D. thesis is titled “Space Harmonics Modelling and Analysis of a 3 Phase Asymmetrical Unevenly Chorded Winding.”
