ITU Students’ Success in Environmental Awards

Within the scope of the 2nd Green Dot Student Awards given by ÇEVKO Foundation, Istanbul Technical University (ITU) students won second and third place in different categories.

“Green Dot Student Awards,” organized by ÇEVKO Foundation for the second time this year, were given to their owners at a ceremony held in Istanbul on December 19, 2023. At ÇEVKO Foundation “Green Dot Student Awards” ceremony, 12 projects from 17 universities were awarded “Green Dot Student Awards” in 3 categories.

Award for ITU students’ social responsibility practice and packaging design

In the Environmental Social Responsibility Practices category, Istanbul Technical University Environmental Engineering students Özlem Çolapkulu, Zeliha Sude Doğan, Osman Dündar, Sıla Karabulut and Buğra Bayır won the second prize.

In the Packaging Eco-design category, Istanbul Technical University Department of Industrial Design student Fatma Akkan received the third prize for her project “Lutri.”
