ETH Zurich Medal to Our Graduate
Dr. Uğur Bozüyük, a graduate of our Department of Chemical Engineering, was awarded the ETH Zurich Medal for his outstanding doctoral thesis.

Dr. Uğur Bozüyük, a graduate of Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Chemical-Metallurgical Engineering, Department of Chemical Engineering, was awarded the “ETH Zurich Medal” given by the leading Swiss higher education institution, the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich), to outstanding theses in their fields, for his doctoral thesis titled “Magnetic Surface Microrollers for Endovascular Navigation,” which he completed in 2023.
Dr. Bozüyük’s doctoral thesis, which he prepared at Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in collaboration with the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, focuses on the development of a magnetic microrobotic system (magnetic surface microrollers) and their navigation potential in blood vessels.
