EELISA’s Priorities for the Future Have Been Defined
The EELISA Executive Board meeting, where fruitful discussions were held towards the EELISA strategic plan, was hosted by the Polytechnic University of Madrid on January 25-26, 2024, with the participation of representatives from our University.

The EELISA Executive Board meeting, the first on-site EELISA meeting of the year, was hosted by the Polytechnic University of Madrid on January 25-26, 2024. ITU was represented at the meeting by EELISA Executive Board member Prof. Dr. Lütfiye Durak Ata, ITU EELISA European University Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Emrah Acar, and EELISA innoCORE Coordinator Prof. Dr. Hür Bersam Sidal.
The meeting’s agenda focused on critical topics that will form EELISA’s strategic plan. The topics discussed in the EELISA Executive Board meeting were as follows: inter-university campus and education, research and innovation, EELISA’s focus areas and key values, knowledge-creating teams and their connection with society, alliance integration, portfolio management, and student council roadmap.
Overall goals and collaboration
The meeting provided an environment for collaborative decision-making, aligned with EELISA’s overall goals. With the contributions of the Executive Board members and the EELISA Student Council, a fruitful year was planned.
Hosted by our partner Polytechnic University of Madrid, the coordinator organization of EELISA, and with the contributions of valuable moderators, the EELISA Executive Board Meeting laid the foundation for a dynamic and collaborative 2024. The Executive Board members planned the roadmap for an active year through fruitful discussions.
