iF Design Student Award to ITU Members

The project titled “DRAN_Disaster Response Aerial Network” prepared by our students at a project studio conducted in our Department of Industrial Design was deemed worthy of the iF Design 2024 Student Award by ranking among the top 75 out of 7000 applications worldwide.

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) continues to show global success with the active learning opportunities it offers to its students that support student entrepreneurship and innovation.

The Project Team consisting of our Department of Industrial Design students Şevval Aydın, Derin Naz Kızılsavaş, Eyşan Öztürk and Mesut Ege Piber was deemed worthy of the iF Design 2024 Student Award with the project titled “DRAN_Disaster Response Aerial Network”.

Our students prepared their project in the EUT419E Industrial Design Studio IV Project Studio on “New Generation Urban Transportation / Urban Electrical Flight” conducted by Faculty of Architecture faculty members Prof. Dr. Çiğdem KAYA and Asst. Prof. Dr. Cem ALPPAY in the 2023-2024 Fall Semester.

We congratulate our students and faculty members for their success in the iF Design Awards, which is considered the most prestigious international award given in the field of Industrial Design.
