Research Scholarship to Our Staff from TÜBİTAK

Our staff member Dr. Ömer Vanlı has been awarded TÜBİTAK 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship for his project.

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Faculty of Civil Engineering staff member Dr. Ömer Vanlı has been awarded TÜBİTAK 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship for his scientific project titled “Wheat yield estimation against climate change in the Southeastern Anatolia region using multi-scale and 3-model grid-based models”.

The fellowship-winning project, designed to meet the requirements for increasing agricultural production with the expanding population and to present solution-oriented approaches to current risks, aims to provide regional yield estimates of winter bread wheat varieties with known genetic coefficients under the influence of climate change.
