Strong Interest in ITU at the NAFSA 2025 Expo in California

ITU was among the distinguished universities representing Türkiye at the "Study in Türkiye" pavilion of the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo in San Diego, California.

Held at the San Diego Convention Center from May 27-30, 2025, the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference & Expo welcomed hundreds of international institutions. ITU was a prominent participant in the “Study in Türkiye” pavilion, organized with support from the Turkish National Agency. The university attracted significant attention due to the enthusiastic interest it received at the world's most prestigious higher education fair. Important connections were established to enhance ITU's international collaborations and global visibility. 

At the expo, where Lecturer Cahit Okan represented our university, notable visitors to the ITU booth included Los Angeles Consul General Sinan Kuzum and former U.S. Ambassador to Türkiye, Francis Ricciardone.
