ITU is among World Leaders with 26 ABET EAC Accredited Programs
As ITU starts the new academic year with a total of 26 ABET EAC accredited engineering undergraduate programs, it continues to be among the world leaders with its education quality.

Istanbul Technical University continues to be among the world leaders with its international level education quality with its ABET EAC accredited 25+1 engineering undergraduate programs in the 2023-2024 academic year. While ITU develops and maintains its title of “the university with the highest number of ABET EAC accredited engineering undergraduate programs” in Türkiye and its region, it continues to be among the leaders of higher education institutions with education quality assurance and accreditation at the global level.
Continuing to pursue its goals of continuously improving education quality and guiding the trends, engineering education and the profession of the 21st century as an indicator of its vision of transforming the future in the 250th Anniversary of its establishment, ITU continues to be the leader of our country in technical education with accreditations from ABET and similar globally respected institutions that have corporate quality management and quality assurance with independent, non-profit, transparent and impartial processes, where respected professionals who are experts in their fields take part voluntarily.

ABET is a non-profit, independent, international accreditation organization where volunteer professionals take part in the evaluation processes. Some data on ABET are as follows:
