Project Support from TUSEB to Our Academics

Our faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Özdemir and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ceren Çıracı Muğan have been granted TUSEB support for their project titled “Photoacoustic and Molecular Analyzes of In Vitro Effects of Different Therapeutic Agents on Eosinophils in Chronic Diseases such as Cancer, Asthma and Allergy”.

The project prepared by Istanbul Technical University (ITU) Faculty of Electrical and Electronics, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Özdemir and Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ceren Çıracı Muğan has been granted support within the framework of “Health Institutes of Türkiye (TUSEB) Group B R&D Project” program.

The project titled “Photoacoustic and Molecular Analyzes of In Vitro Effects of Different Therapeutic Agents on Eosinophils in Chronic Diseases such as Cancer, Asthma and Allergy”, which will be carried out by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özdemir and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çıracı Muğan, aims to enable performing analyzes in the diagnostic process of diseases such as cancer and asthma and image and spectral analyzes by using data obtained from the photoacoustic tomography system.
