“250-Year Story of Bees” Met the Audience

The documentary “250-Year Story of Bees”, prepared by ITU for the 250th Anniversary of its establishment, premiered at ITU Ayazağa Campus on October 21.

 

250-Year Story of Bees, prepared by Istanbul Technical University (ITU) for the 250th Anniversary of its establishment, met with the audience for the first time on October 21, 2023. 250-Year Story of Bees, which is the main documentary of a series consisting of 13 documentaries, was greatly appreciated by the audience. 

Massive attendance at the gala night 

The premiere of the documentary, which tells the contributions of ITU to the scientific and technical fields in Türkiye and the world since its establishment in 1773, narrated by ITU graduates, was held at the Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center.  

The premiere was attended by the 27th Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım, former Minister of Forestry and Water Affairs Prof. Dr. Veysel Eroğlu, as well as university rectors, ITU students, graduates, academics and business people. 

250th anniversary special commemorative stamps 

Following the 45-minute screening of 250-Year Story of Bees, which was appreciated by the audience, the commemorative stamps produced for the 250th Anniversary of the establishment of Istanbul Technical University were presented to the participants. The premiere ended with the taking of photos.
