About MedGU meetings
MedGU is a union that aims to provide opportunities to geoscientists to undertake interdisciplinary collaborative research. It fosters geoscience research as well as applied research that addresses societal and environmental challenges.
MedGU is intended to create impact such as preserving the natural environment, developing policies towards earth sciences and creating sustainable societies in countries bordering the Mediterranean. MedGU, which organized its first symposium at ITU in 2021, held its second meeting in Marrakesh, Morocco in 2022.
