“AITR Istanbul Artificial Intelligence Summit” with the Contributions of ITU

“Istanbul Artificial Intelligence Summit,” organized for the first time this year by AITR, founded under the leadership of ITU and TBV, brought together the business world and academia to discuss the current opportunities of artificial intelligence on December 23, 2023.

“Istanbul Artificial Intelligence Summit” organized on December 23, 2023 by Turkey’s Artificial Intelligence Platform (AITR), which was established under the leadership of Istanbul Technical University and the Turkish Informatics Foundation and has been operating effectively for three years, brought together private sector representatives and academics.

Speaking at the event where predictions, findings and suggestions on the use and development opportunities of artificial intelligence were conveyed to the audience by expert panelists, ITU Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Physics Engineering faculty member and AITR Co-Chair Prof. Dr. Altan Çakır stated that the Istanbul Artificial Intelligence Summit was organized for the first time this year in order to bring together the business world and academia.

At the day-long summit, there were four panels with presentations on topics such as productive artificial intelligence applications and expectations of change, artificial intelligence and scientific innovation, studies on artificial intelligence for society, and the importance of artificial intelligence for the business world.
