EU Erasmus+ Support for ITU’s Sustainability Project
ITU has been awarded funding from the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Modules for the EULead_SusMan project. The project, which focuses on sustainability management, will start on January 1, 2025 and continue for three years.

The “European Leadership for Sustainability Management – EULead_SusMan” project, which will be coordinated by Istanbul Technical University (ITU), has been awarded funding under the European Union Erasmus+ Program Jean Monnet Actions Jean Monnet Modules call with a total budget of 30,000 Euros. The project will start on January 1, 2025 and continue for three years.
The project will be led by ITU Management Engineering Department Head Prof. Dr. Hatice Camgöz Akdağ. In addition, ITU Management Engineering Department Ph.D. student Nur Eradlı will take part as project manager and researcher.
The EULead_SusMan project aims to develop an innovative teaching module consisting of courses titled “Leadership for European Sustainability Management” and to prepare an open access database and an informative booklet on the European Green Deal and the European Union’s (EU) sustainability policies.
During the project, public seminars will be organized in collaboration with EU researchers, sustainability management will be introduced to a broad audience, and the effects of case studies on education will be examined in detail.
