News: İTÜ Media and Communication Office

Companies are invited to submit real technological or innovation-related challenges, which will be tackled by international, interdisciplinary student teams. Over several months, students will develop innovative solution concepts, with the most outstanding teams invited to present their proposals at the international workshop in Istanbul, December 2025.

Benefits for participating companies include access to fresh ideas from European talent, collaboration with leading universities, tailored early-stage solutions, and visibility within an international innovation ecosystem.

The process is simple:
1. Companies submit a brief Challenge description via the online form.
2. Selected Challenges are assigned to student teams.
3. Students develop solution proposals and present them at the Istanbul final workshop.

Companies interested in participating are encouraged to apply through the online form.

For more information, you can contact the DE-TECH ITU Project Coordinator, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nihan Yıldırım:  yildirimni@itu.edu.tr

De-TECH is led by a consortium of prestigious universities that will facilitate the connection between companies and innovative young talent: the Technical University of Madrid (UPM), the Estonian Business School (EBS), Istanbul Technical University (ITU), and Leibniz University Hannover (LUH).
