Istanbul Technical University (ITU) has been recognized as the most successful university in Türkiye in the renowned Nature Index 2025 Research Leaders Ranking, which measures scientific publication performance.

ITU ranked first in Türkiye in the Nature Index 2025 Research Leaders Ranking, reflecting its vision as a “Research University Focused on Responsibility and Impact.” ITU’s institutional share in articles published within the scope of the Nature Index increased by 50.2% compared to the previous year.

ITU’s interdisciplinary research culture, strong laboratory and R&D infrastructure, innovative business models for university-industry collaborations, global academic partnerships, and extra-curricular learning opportunities provided to students continue to strengthen its research ecosystem for scientific output.
