ITU Autonomous Sailboat Team Will Represent Our Country in 2022 Maritime Robotx Autonomous Challenge

ITU Autonomous Sailboat Team (ITUASTeam) became the first and only university team from Turkey to qualify for 2022 Maritime Robotx Autonomous Challenge. Our team will represent our country in the competitions that will be held at Sydney International Regatta Center on 11-17 November 2022.

Low Carbon Heroes Announced at the 7th Istanbul Carbon E-Summit

Sustainable Consumption and Production Association (SPCA) organized the 7th Istanbul Carbon E-Summit on September 28, 2021 with the main support of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and Istanbul Technical University (ITU). Within the scope of the E-Summit, companies that implement social and technical practices to reduce their carbon footprint by reducing greenhouse gas emissions were rewarded.

ITU is a Partner of Innovative Software Competition (Y3) Program

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) will be among the organizers of the Innovative Software Competition (Y3) organized by the Presidency of Defence Industries (SSB). ITU will be responsible for organizing the competition “Reinforcement Learning Based Herd Strategy Development” and developing the software and algorithms required for the competition environment in the 3rd term of the program.

ITU Rover Team Received 2 Awards from Europe’s Biggest Space and Robotics Competition

ITU Rover Team, which works on planetary exploration robots, won the "Best Robot Arm" award in addition to the silver medal in the general ranking in the European Rover Challenge competition, in which they participated with their 5th generation rover, and achieved the best international ranking ever received by Turkish rover teams.
